Channel behaving strange with some other channels
My channel behaves strange with the channels at least of @
RockyIII and @
Mario Vavti : I receive their posts, and I can comment on their posts and edit my posts when I visit their wall on their hubs. But on my HQ or Stream, I am not presented the option to comment, like, dislike, or edit my comments.
For better diagnosis: This channel has a clone (I created it via web sync, not via file export). I probably have used the webbie (short channel name + Hub sbdomain) off this or the clone's channel earlier trying to get setup my own hub. I probably "committed Zot suicide" (without knowing it), by deleting and re-installing the hub (to make sure I did not omit important steps), when I had encountered problems. So there might or might not exist multiple hashs for this channel, which appearently are saved as "hublocs" on other hubs I had contacted - which would make these hubs consider my channel as "forged".
I understand this has been considered an unrealistic case (and therefore there is no prevention installed for it) in Zot - And no mechanism has been created to solve this condition and re-deem such a channel. I think this is a systematic flaw in the system, but I want to make clear that I do post this because I would expect anyone to change it - my focus here is to give background to the problem.
With Rocky, we found out that the primary channel seems not considered "forged": My posts do not have the green checkmark of approval (because I can only post from his wall) but it does not have a red exclamation mark of diapproval either. With @
Einer von Vielen, I tested posting with primary and secondary cloen, and posts from the one channel showed up with a red exclamation mark to the other. The problematic behavior does not show up with a different channel from that hub, I can directly comment and edit from HQ and stream.
So can anyone help me find out:
A) Could a clone be the problem for this behavior? How can I check whether they have different hashs?
B) How can I find out wich of the clone channels is considered as forged by which hubs?
C) How can a "forged" channel be redeemed by me or the corresponding hub admin? (The deprecated hash/hubloc be deleted?)
D) Any other ideas how to narrow down the problem?
I really want to avoid by all means to give up my established identity with all connections, all history, and all content, to give up its established identifier, or the hub's domain..
