I suggest that you document this solution in the form of an Hubzilla article or a web page on your hub and use appropriate hashtags, e.g. #HubzillaHelp #HubzillaLang #LanguageSettingsHbz, #HubzillaFAQ, #HubzillaFirstSteps etc., to ensure that the solution can be found. Then others will also benefit from it

Hi @Hiker,

Hubzilla looks for the language of your browser. So if it is set to English Hubzulla allways will appear in English. And I think it's also the fallback if it can't handle the information.

Yes, as described above: The German language file is set to language "de-de" but the browser was set to "de" and so the display was English as fallback.

I think Hubzilla takes the language settings (for German) very seriously - setting to "de" should be enough IMHO. Or do we really want also "de-ch" and "de-at"? With other languages the settings there is only the first part (fr, es, it, en).
